Wings should have bones removed to cut shipping weight and cost. Please sprinkle removal site with borax after bones have been removed.

Borax can be found at most stores in the laundry Aisle. While I will buy salted feathers - I would rather have boraxed wings and tails instead of salted.

Tail Fans need to be cut long in a complete clump encasing all of the bronze banded feathers on the back of the turkey. It is better to include more of the tail rather than less if you are not sure!

Shipping costs will be re-imbursed IN FULL if you pack intelligently. 

Make sure the box you use is not way too big. All carriers now charge extra for packages with dimensions over 1 cubic foot. You may need to reduce the size of the box to prevent shifting in transit that might damaging the feathers inside.

It is also important to choose a box that will comfortably hold the items shipped to prevent damage to goods because of crowding, bending and roughing. Not too big or small!!

Basically - we WANT to pay you as much as possible for your feathers. We WANT to reimburse you for shipping. We'd like you to keep doing business with us!

We don't want to pay for dead space and we don't pay top prices for damaged or dirty feathers.
